NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra / Simone Rubino / Stefan Geiger

And this is exactly the aim of young percussionist Simone Rubino: he wants to rediscover his instrument in all its different nuances. Tonight, the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra and the ensemble NDR Percussion give him the chance to do precisely that. What could be better material for this purpose than the complex rhythmic pieces of Israeli composer Avner Dorman? Given their premiere here, they offer a whole variety of new challenges.
