SINGING! – the NDR Chor’s singalong concert – is now held in the Elbphilharmonie Grand Hall for the first time. Klaas Stok, the new chief conductor of the NDR Chor, takes to the podium. The works performed on the evening will be rehearsed over a number of weekend workshops: on the programme are moving sacred works that have their roots in German Romanticism and English Victorianism to the present day. The organ has been granted a special role in the first SINGING! programme thanks to Klaas Stok’s history as organist.
