Great Moments in a Minor Key

Please note: Unfortunateley due to the current travel restrictions and quarantine regulations Yuja Wang cannot perform this concert. Seong-Jin Cho wil step in, the programme remains unchanged.

Since he won first prize at the prestigious Chopin Competition in 2015, Seong-Jin Cho has been following in some impressive footsteps. And he hopes to be seen one day, like his famous predecessors Martha Argerich, Maurizio Pollini or Krystian Zimerman, not just as a »Chopin champion«, but as an outstanding musical personality in his own right. This sensitive and unassuming pianist is already moving in the right direction: Seong-Jin Cho has long since turned into a star in his native Korea, and in Europe too, where he settled a while ago, the number of his fans is continually growing.
