In the instrumentation of a classical chamber orchestra, the Andromeda Mega Express Orchestra forges links with wit and virtuosity between avant-garde pop, colourful world music, associative film scores and uninhibited jazz improvisation. Before they appear, singer and electric guitarist Monika Roscher refines the well-honed brass section of her big band with a varnish of the finest indie pop and theatrical sound experiments.
