According to »VAN Magazin«, the baritone Matthias Goerne has »a voice that will hook you for life«. The Weimar-born singer has long been a star of the opera stage, and is one of the world’s most in-demand lieder singers. He is coming to Hamburg with one of his favourite pianists, the artistic director of the Salzburg Festival Markus Hinterhäuser. They have already performed together in the Elbphilharmonie in 2018, when they presented Franz Schubert’s »Winterreise«.
