La Bohème – Puccini à deux
In this brand-new project, Mathieu van Bellen and Mathias Halvorsen perform Puccini’s opera »La Bohème« in a fascinating new arrangement for violin and piano. The musicians arranged the score themselves, bringing together the voices of the soloists, choir and orchestra. The performance includes surtitles, scene descriptions and excerpts from Henri Murger’s novel »Scènes de la vie de bohème«, on which Puccini’s 1896 opera is based.
