Mathias Eick and The Norwegian Wind Ensemble

With his fourth ECM release »Ravensburg« (2018), the Norwegian trumpeter Mathias Eick alludes to the famous jigsaw puzzles that are so popular in his home. The album is a homage to family ties, which are the starting point of all the artist’s journeys – both physical and spiritual – as demonstrated by tracks such as »Family«, »Children« and »Parents«.
