Martha Argerich Festival
Hamburg Symphony Orchestra / Martha Argerich / Adrian Iliescu
This year’s Martha Argerich Festival comes to a magnificent close: experience several different and fascinating instrument combinations as music-making friends come together for one very special night. The concert starts with intimate chamber music in varying small ensembles, before an orchestra and conductor then take things up a level – and by the end of the night there will be four grand pianos on stage! The cleverly conceived programme weaves various strands of music-historical friendship, with works ranging from Bach and Beethoven to the Schumanns and Brahms.
