London Philharmonic Orchestra / Anne-Sophie Mutter / Robin Ticciati
Mendelssohn Bartholdy / Bruckner
She is a true phenomenon! Anne-Sophie Mutter has achieved everything a classical musician could hope to achieve. And yet she seems to constantly reinvent herself – as an ambitious interpreter of contemporary repertoires, as a mentor for her foundation’s promising young talents and, most recently, as the protagonist of Deutsche Grammophon’s »Yellow Lounge« club series. However, her Laeiszhalle performance is limited to the purely classical – featuring a beautiful violin concerto and one of Europe’s best orchestras. »London Philharmonic Orchestra, Mutter and Mendelssohn« sounds like a familiar but very attractive combination.
