Lisa Bassenge Trio

Berlin singer Lisa Bassenge has released several albums of her own songs, both as a soloist and with her trio. But she wanted to do something completely different for her latest project. Paying little heed to genre boundaries, Bassenge has selected songs that are close to her heart – including numbers by The Beatles, George Gershwin, Patsy Cline and Billie Holiday – and reinterpreted them in her own unique way. In an intimate interplay with her accomplished jazz colleagues Jacob Karlzon and Andreas Lang, she now presents »Borrowed and Blue« in the Elbphilharmonie Recital Hall.
