Komponist & Pianist Leon Gurvitch im Porträtkonzert
Soloalbum Release: »Musique Mélancolique« – Special Guest: Hamburger Kammerballett
Musik voller Hoffnung
The pianist and composer Leon Gurvitch presents his new solo piano album »Musique Mélancolique« not only as the author, but also as the interpreter of his own compositions. This creates unique musical images that take the audience on an entertaining journey of reflection of a special kind. The Hamburg native has become an integral part of the Hanseatic city’s music scene and fascinates audiences with his versatile, emotionally charged musicality, wide stylistic range and technical virtuosity. His piano cycle »Musique Mélancolique«, which forms the centrepiece of the new album, conveys sadness about the ongoing state of war on the one hand and hope for a better, peaceful world on the other.
