Folk songs are a source of romantic emotions. They tell of love, longing, joy and sorrow – themes that are timeless and still touch us musically today. In four scenes, the Kodály Choir Hamburg tells of exuberant happiness, the youthful recklessness of first love, the grief of love denied and of letting go and saying goodbye.
