Three grand pianos on one stage and a whole orchestra to boot? No problem if everyone squeezes up a bit! With the exceptional pianist Anna Vinnitskaya, her mentor Evgeni Koroliov and his wife Ljupka Hadzigeorgieva, you can experience three of Hamburg’s piano greats performing together in the Grand Hall with the Kammerakademie Potsdam. Johann Sebastian Bach wrote numerous concertos for one, two and three pianos (or the harpsichord back then) – perfect for the Elbphilharmonie’s unique stage. Full of energy and depth, these compositions by the recognised master of Baroque music put the piano in the foreground and are as if tailor-made for the three great pianists around Anna Vinnitskaya.
