Julian Rachlin / Festival Strings Lucerne
Suk / Bach / Liszt
Julian Rachlin’s last guest performance in Hamburg in December 2015 elicited standing ovations and cries of bravo. His brilliant interpretation of Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto was completely captivating.
This season, with the Lucerne Festival Strings, he not only has an opportunity to demonstrate his qualities as a soloist, but also as an ensemble leader. The outstanding chamber musician, who has held a professorship at the Vienna Conservatory since 1999, has the rare and impressive ability, as a »primus inter pares«, of elegantly combining his various talents and is a popular partner for renowned chamber orchestras as a result.
