Julia Holter
The Californian singer-songwriter Julia Holter has already conquered many hearts with her voice and her music. She released her first album, »Tragedy«, in 2011, and her breakthrough followed two years later with the ethereal »Loud City Song«, where she described a melancholy ramble through Los Angeles by night. Her latest record came out in 2017: the live studio album »In The Same Room«.
In concert Holter always manages to surprise her audience, playing sometimes with an electronic band set-up plus strings accompaniment, sometimes together with the Orchestra of Syrian Musicians. At her sole appearance in Germany in December 2018, her fans will have the opportunity to hear her in the unique acoustic of the Elbphilharmonie Grand Hall. And with a bit of luck, she’ll be performing some new songs: at a concert in Mexico this spring, she already sang several new pieces.
