The musical delimitation of the »Jazz at the Kulturcafé« series undergoes a serious trial at the guest performance of the four-strong Cologne formation Salomea. German-American singer Rebekka Salomea and her self-proclaimed »contemporary multi-genre« band playfully blend jazz influences – in wonderful neo-soul fashion – with catchy pop tunes, eccentric hip-hop beats and synthetic electronic sounds.
Jazz at the Kulturcafé is a monthly event presenting the most promising upcoming artists in the jazz and singer-songwriter scene. It is the perfect experimental platform for musicians and bands from Hamburg and all over the country. The atmosphere is laid back – and admission is free!
