Heinz Rudolf Kunze

Heinz Rudolf Kunze has been both an important and eloquent protagonist on Germany’s cultural scene for forty years now. The political songwriter has written some of the most touching love songs in German pop history and often contributes to the social discourse with his compositions. And yet he remains as edgy, non-conformist and argumentative as ever, never following the crowd. At the Laeiszhalle he presents a mix of topical lyrics, ballads and a flurry of greatest hits – as well as his new album »Können vor Lachen«, of course. Kunze is accompanied by his six-piece band »Verstärkung«, which has remained loyal to the artist for several decades now.
