In its seventh round, the Hamburg International Chamber Music Festival focuses on women in the history of music: works can be heard by no fewer than 15 lady composers from the Late Romantic to the modern periods, and the festival ends with works by Fanny Mendelssohn-Hensel and Lera Auerbach (1973-).
