Hamburger Camerata

The Hamburger Camerata invites talented »lads & lasses« – young soloists from Hamburg and Northern Germany – to the Elbphilharmonie Recital Hall. The Hamburg-based orchestra offers promising young musicians a platform in a pair of concerts. On the first evening, cellist Anna Olivia Amaya Farias, aged 19, and 15-year-old pianist Malte Gohr share the honours with another young talent on the rostrum: Estonian conductor Jaan Ots, who last held the position of assistant conductor with the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra. In addition to his Elbphilharmonie debut, he looks forward to working together with conductor Hannu Lintu in the orchestra’s 2018/19 season.
