Romanticism in all its hues has continued to shape the way we think and feel to this day. Traditionally around Christmastime we instinctively go for the glitter and prestige of baroque music – but the cadence of romantic composers is just as suited to our festive feelings, which also often bear the signs of romantic transfiguration.
