Gwildis Reads Storm’s »Der Schimmelreiter«
Rescheduled Reading from 1 September 2017
Stefan Gwildis, Hamburg-based singer and songwriter, has been regarded as one of the most successful and consistently first-rate artists in the German-language music scene for nearly 40 years now. Punctually to mark the 200th anniversary of the birth of the great German poet and author Theoder Storm, Gwildis fulfils a life-long dream by creating an audio book titled »gwildis liest storm. der schimmelreiter« (Gwildis Reads Storm. The Schimmelreiter) – and now presents it at the Elbphilharmonie as part of a large-scale reading tour of selected concert halls.
Accompanied by Tobias Neumann on the piano and Hagen Kuhr on the cello, Gwildis takes listeners on a gloomy-nightmarish journey back to a stormy North Frisia in the 19th century.
Please note: This reading has been rescheduled from 1 September to 1 October 2017. All tickets remain valid for the new date.
