Prelude to the Year of the Dragon
New Year is the most important holiday in Chinese culture: it is celebrated every year at the new moon in January or February and lasts several days with family visits, delicious food – and of course music! The China National Traditional Orchestra therefore invites you to a big New Year’s concert in the Elbphilharmonie to ring in the Year of the Dragon. The programme of the renowned ensemble includes works that welcome in the New Year with a festive sound. Among others, the internationally acclaimed pipa player and artistic director of the CNTO Zhao Cong will be performing.
