Participatory Concert for Children Ages 1–8
A children’s concert that gets everyone involved: The Sound Gang Summit has already been taking place at the Laeiszhalle for a number of years. At 10:00 on this day, the Sound Gang meet outside the Laeiszhalle and – with lots of music – highlight the need for early musical education for every child. After that, a colourful, interactive children’s concert in the Laeiszhalle Grand Hall captures the imagination of children between the ages of 1 and 8, as well as their teachers, parents and grandparents. The children’s concert is presented by the popular KiKa presenter Singa Gätgens.
The »Sound Gang« is a Hamburg project that has been supporting children’s institutions and families with musical education since 2007, making early musical education possible for more than 2,000 children. By now, more than 60 partners across Hamburg belong to the network.
