Felix Mendelssohn, the famous composer, conductor and pianist, is feeling the strain. He is up to his ears in work. He really needs a holiday! Wouldn’t it be great to simply head off on a journey! But travelling without his musicians? No, Felix couldn’t do that. And his sister Fanny wants to come too. But where should they go? Felix, his sister Fanny and his string quartet experience an adventure-filled trip to numerous countries and cities, before they finally return home.
