»Ein musikalischer Maskenball« / »A Musical Masked Ball«
Symphoniker Hamburg / Children’s Concert
The Symphoniker Hamburg are in carnival mood – and Juri Tetzlaff is right in the middle of the action. This concert is all about costumes, disguises and crazy roles – with music, anything is possible. The starting point is the overture from Johann Strauss’s operetta »Die Fledermaus«, which is based on the premise of a masked ball and is full of hilarious misunderstandings and cases of mistaken identity. Wigs, make-up and weird clothes are explicitly welcome. A sonorous adventure that is also suitable for carnival grouches – with music for the whole family! Streamers and confetti for the ears.
