»In Love with Mozart«
Daniel Behle loves Mozart. So much so, that he goes to great lengths to have the chance to sing Mozart’s music. Last spring he even launched a large-scale crowdfunding campaign so that he could devote his attention to the great Salzburg composer and his operas together with the Baroque orchestra L’Orfeo. And it worked! In fact, the campaign collected a significantly larger amount than needed. True Behle fans know that anything the born-and-bred Hamburg tenor tackles is guaranteed to be a success. The roles presented on the stage at tonight’s concert show an impressive development from lover to classic hero – much as the composer himself worked his way up from the position of a lowly court musician in Salzburg to the darling of the opera houses in Munich, Prague and Vienna.
