Cello Duello

The duo »Cello Duello« has been playing concert programmes for some 25 years that are highly entertaining as well as artistically sophisticated: original compositions from the Early Classical period and Romantic works by cello virtuosos or composers who played the cello, like Jacques Offenbach, to pieces written to commission, for example, by German composer and conductor Jan Müller-Wieland. In addition to these original works, the duo’s own arrangements also play a central role in most of their programmes, thus an arrangement of Paganini’s »Moses Fantasia« from the Duello’s pen.
