Cécile McLorin Salvant has style and spirit in spades. With a wonderfully versatile voice that knows all the tricks of the jazz trade, she continues the tradition of her great predecessors Ella Fitzgerald and Sarah Vaughan. McLorin Salvant expresses her art with particular beauty in the intimate setting of smaller bands. After conquering the hearts of the audience with a fantastic debut concert with her trio in the Elbphilharmonie Grand Hall in October 2017, she now returns with a sextet boasting an unusual instrumental line-up.
