Zwischen Clubsound und experimentellem Pop
Concerts at the Elbphilharmonie and Laeiszhalle are currently subject to coronavirus-related restrictions. This event is therefore going ahead with an amended programme and reduced seating capacity. There will be two concerts on 15 Ocotber at 18:45 and 20:45.
The Pudel Club in St Pauli inspired two highly creative Hamburg musicians to establish the duo Shari Vari: Sophia Kennedy writes lyrics, sings and plays the keyboard, while Helena Ratka contributes beats and synthesizer sounds. The outcome is a carefree mix of club sounds and experimental pop.
The Elbphilharmonie sees itself as a concert hall for everyone. In that spirit, our concert series »Made in Hamburg« brings local pop and rock artists out of the clubs and into the Recital Hall. After all, they make a decisive contribution to the city’s good reputation as a music centre – and they play great music.
