Organ music by Johann Sebastian Bach and Charles-Marie Widor is heard at the third late-night charity concert for the new Klais organ of Hamburg’s St. Nikolai church. The recital on the Klais organ features pieces by Widor and Bach: with his performances of Bach, the brilliant French organist and composer made a decisive contribution to the popularity of Bach’s music in 19th century France.
