CANCELLED: Grigory Sokolov
Since it will not be possible to hold concerts under normal conditions initially, only under strict hygiene restrictions and with a greatly reduced capacity, the promoter ProArte has decided to cancel the events scheduled for April, May and June 2021. Tickets for these concerts, with a hall plan adapted to the hygiene concept, will only go on sale again when it is possible to say with certainty at what point concerts can take place again.

Grigory Sokolov is regarded as one of today’s top pianists. He is not fond of interviews, and his concert programmes are only announced shortly before the performance. Moreover, he doesn’t appear together with an orchestra as he finds the rehearsal times too short. This much makes it pretty clear that he devotes himself wholeheartedly to the music. Sokolov immerses himself for months in his recital programmes that then take him on extensive tours to the world’s prime concert venues, among them the Hamburg Laeiszhalle.
