With celebrated live performances and millions of YouTube views, the Café del Mundo musicians are true stars of the Flamenco guitar. The outstanding duo has already filled the Laeiszhalle’s Studio E three times, and they now move to the venue’s Recital Hall with their new album »Guitar Super Nova«. For the two guitarists it’s about more than virtuosic entertainment. They see the tradition-steeped genre of the Flamenco as elemental music that rouses and moves people. It’s all about the things that touch us deeply: love, longing, death and zest for life. The duo has come up with a sound that weaves a fine thread between Flamenco, classical, jazz and techno – »audibly boundless«, as the »Süddeutsche Zeitung« described them.
