Bulgarian Voices / »Angelite«

The Bulgarian Voices gave their European premiere in Bremen in 1987, on the western side of what was then the »Iron Curtain«. Their concert was recorded by Radio Bremen, and laid the foundation stone of an international career that led to two Grammy nominations. This unique women’s choir has a bright sound reminiscent of bells. Thirty years later, the choir is on tour in Germany again, and will be making an appearance at the Laeiszhalle with younger singers and a new programme.
