Blind Date
Surprise Concert with Double Bass Quartet
»No other instrument is needed to emphasise the special features of the double bass,« Dominik Wagner is convinced. He therefore dedicated his brand-new album »Double Bass Rhapsody« entirely to the low notes and, in his own words, recorded »absolute highlights of music history« in arrangements for double bass quartet with three colleagues. Some of these pieces were on the programme of the »Blind Date« concert.
Welcome to Blind Date! Here, anything is possible: groovy folk fiddle music, crossover string quartets, virtuosic live piano improvisation combining jazz and classical music. The imagination is boundless, but not when the surprise is revealed in advance! Included in a Blind Date ticket is a free drink – so that you can ask the evening’s artists at the bar what you just heard!
