Benefit Concert / Hamburger Ärzteorchester
Brahms / Dvořák
Founded by the church musician Willi Linow, the Hamburger Ärzteorchester has been a home for dedicated amateur musicians since 1964. Under the direction of horn player and conductor Thilo Jaques since 2004, the orchestra usually performs for charitable causes at conferences and in hospitals and social institutions in Hamburg and the surrounding area. They have also travelled to Eastern Europe, Iceland, the US, Africa, Indonesia, China and Israel.
This concert in the Elbphilharmonie Recital Hall will help raise funds for the Hamburger Hospiz im Helenenstift and the outpatient hospice advisory service for seriously ill and dying patients.
Meet the artist and CD sales: Soloist Liv Migdal will be signing autographs during the interval and following the concert at the CD stand in the foyer.
