For a long time it was possible to count on one hand those jazz musicians who expressed their creative energies in both an electric and an acoustic band in parallel. But that’s more common these days, and the Israeli trumpeter Avishai Cohen is a particularly wonderful example. He gave an amazing concert with his acoustic quartet at the »Manfred Eicher Reflektor« in the Grand Hall in early 2020, and he is now coming to the Recital Hall with his electric quintet Big Vicious.
