As a result of the new Germany-wide coronavirus restrictions that have been issued, all concerts in the Elbphilharmonie and Laeiszhalle have been cancelled initially from 2–30 November. Juan José Mosalini is without a doubt one of the world’s best bandoneon virtuosos. With his Gran Orquestra de Tango, he represents and renews in a unique fashion the Tango Nuevo that originated with Astor Piazzolla. Mosalini began his career in the 1960s in leading Argentine tango orchestras, working with Susana Rinaldi and Astor Piazolla, and setting up the avant-garde ensemble Guardia Nueva together with Daniel Binelli.
