Cecilia Bartoli has now been a force to be reckoned with in the classical music business for more than 30 years – even though it feels like just yesterday that she first shook up the world of classical singing with her truly unique stage presence and phenomenal voice. It’s amazing how someone can keep finding new ways to approach the repertoire over such a long period of time.

In the Musiciens du Prince-Monaco, the singer has now been working for a few years with an ensemble that understands exactly what Bartoli is all about: true-to-life and unaffected interpretations of works that may be several centuries old but that are still impressively relevant and expressive.
