Michael Martin is one of Germany’s most famous photographers, having built a reputation through his books, lectures and films. In this lecture, Michael Martin looks back at 40 years of photography during which he travelled across almost 300 deserts before turning his attention to the Arctic and the Antarctic, and reached the North and South Poles. Since 2017 he has been working on his biggest project yet – a portrait of Planet Earth.
