»At the age of 66, you’re just getting started« is an often-quoted line that really hits the nail on the head: 66 years is a long story, about which much has been written, and yet even more stories could be told. In spring 2022, Hamburg is celebrating the 66th anniversary of the Old Merry Tale Jazzband with a Dixieland summit in the Laeiszhalle. Hot-jazz fans can expect a big reunion with the Merry Tales and other surprise musical guests.
