Diese Gala zählt zu den erfolgreichsten Klassik-Tourneen der Musikgeschichte: Ab Dezember wird die Wiener Johann Strauß Konzert-Gala erneut in Deutschland gastieren. Bislang schwelgten mehr als 650.000 Besucher mit den renommierten K&K Philharmonikern in den schönsten Walzer-Melodien und genossen dabei die hervorragenden Tanz-Einlagen des K&K Balletts. Wie immer präsentiert die Wiener Johann Strauß Konzert-Gala eine Melange erstklassiger Strauß-Interpretationen: Auf dem Programm der Wiener Johann Strauß Konzert-Gala steht neben »Winterlust« und »Sympathie« von Josef Strauß eine Vielzahl an Melodien von Johann Strauß (Sohn), darunter »Wiener Blut«, »G’schichten aus dem Wienerwald« und Auszüge aus »Der Zigeunerbaron«, »Eine Nacht in Venedig» und »Fürstin Ninette«. Die K&K Philharmoniker wurden 2002 vom österreichischen Dirigenten Matthias Georg Kendlinger in Lemberg gegründet. Das Orchester wird für seine musikalische Qualität und außergewöhnliche Spielfreude geschätzt, die es – nicht nur mit der Wiener Johann Strauß Konzert-Gala – in jährlich mehr als 100 Auftritten in den Konzerthäusern von Berlin, Stockholm, Madrid, Oslo und Paris unter Beweis stellt. Das Publikum der Wiener Johann Strauß Konzert-Gala kann sich auf die populärsten Melodien der Strauß-Dynastie freuen. Dazu tanzen fünf Paare des Österreichischen K&K Balletts unter der Choreographie von Gerlinde Dill, die von 1974 bis 1995 die Ballett-Darbietungen des Staatsopernballetts leitete. Gesangseinlagen versierter Sopranistinnen runden das Programm der Wiener Johann Strauß Konzert-Gala ab.

Since 1908, the Laeiszhalle has been a meeting place for Hamburg's musical life. The neo-baroque Laeiszhalle Grand Hall accommodates over 2,000 guests. (Please note: The Laeiszhalle is a separate concert hall located three kilometres away from the Elbphilharmonie.)

Facilities for ladies are located behind the cloakrooms on all floors. Facilities for gentlemen can be found on the landing between the floors, also located behind the cloakrooms.
A fully accessible toilet for persons with mobility disabilities is located behind the cloakroom on the ground floor (Parkett links).

Please note: There are several construction sites in the immediate vicinity of the Laeiszhalle which may make it difficult to get to the concert. Please therefore plan enough time for your journey to the concert.
The Laeiszhalle is a separate concert hall located three kilometres away from the Elbphilharmonie.
We suggest visitors arrive at the Laeiszhalle main entrance not later than 30 minutes before the start of the concert or event. Late seating is not guaranteed and latecomers may not be admitted to the concert hall.
The entrance of the Recital Hall is located on Gorch-Fock-Wall.
