Vilde Frang gehört zweifellos zu den wichtigsten Geigerinnen ihrer Generation. Zahllose Male war sie schon zu Gast in der Elbphilharmonie und in der Laeiszhalle – meist mit großen Orchestern und Violinkonzerten. Gemeinsam mit Maximilian Hornung und Denis Kozhukhin gibt es nun die seltene Gelegenheit, sie mit ihrer Liebe zur Kammermusik zu erleben. Auf dem Programm stehen alle drei Klaviertrios von Robert Schumann, in denen sich das bewegte Leben des Komponisten widerspiegelt.
Entstanden die ersten beiden noch in Jahren voller Tatkraft – das erste für Clara zum 28. Geburtstag, das zweite als Gegenstück wenig später – komponiert Schumann das Dritte kurz vor einem Suizidversuch und die anschließende Einweisung in eine Nervenheilanstalt. Clara liebt alle drei Werke, nennt das erste » jugendfrisch und kräftig«, das »erwärmt und entzückt in tiefster Seele« und das dritte sei »voller Leidenschaft, besonders das Scherzo, das einen bis in die wildesten Tiefen mit fortreißt.«
»Schumanns Musik ist immer extrem persönlich«, sagt der Cellist Maximilian Hornung, der wie Vilde Frang mit renommierten Orchestern spielt, darüber hinaus aber Intendant eines Kammermusikfestivals, der Traunsteiner Sommerkonzerte, ist. Denis Kozhukhin war in der Elbphilharmonie zuletzt mit einem umjubelten Konzert der Reihe »Pianomania« zu erleben – das Publikum forderte vor Begeisterung ganze drei Zugaben ein.

The Laeiszhalle is a separate concert hall located three kilometres away from the Elbphilharmonie.

Arrival time
We suggest visitors arrive at the Laeiszhalle main entrance not later than 30 minutes before the start of the concert or event. Late seating is not guaranteed and latecomers may not be admitted to the concert hall.
The entrance of the Recital Hall is located on Gorch-Fock-Wall.
