Der Komponist Ennio Morricone hat legendäre Filmmusik geschaffen: Seinen letzten Oscar bekam er im Februar 2016 für die Musik zu Quentin Tarantinos »The Hateful 8« (2015). Unsterblich machte er sich bereits vor fast 50 Jahren mit der Filmmusik zu dem Klassiker »Spiel mir das Lied vom Tod« (1968). Auch die Filmmusik zu »Django Unchained« (2012), »Kill Bill 2« (2004) oder »The Untouchables« (1987) stammt aus seiner Feder. Morricones Musik zu dem Italo-Western »Zwei glorreiche Halunken« (1966) mit Clint Eastwood hält bis heute den zweiten Platz auf der Liste der 200 besten Soundtracks aller Zeiten. Über 100 Musikerinnen und Musiker sowie Sängerinnen und Sänger der Milano Festival Opera setzen Morricones Musik nun im Großen Saal der Laeiszhalle – untermalt von Original-Filmszenen – in Szene.

Since 1908, the Laeiszhalle has been a meeting place for Hamburg's musical life. The neo-baroque Laeiszhalle Grand Hall accommodates over 2,000 guests.

  • Cloakrooms

    Cloakrooms are located in the foyer areas. Baby carriages, wheeled walkers, walking-stick umbrellas, handbags larger than DIN A3 (42 cm x 30 cm) as well as sport bags, backpacks and suitcases must be checked in at the cloakroom. If required, wheeled walkers can be parked in the immediate vicinity of the hall entrances. Our front of house staff is happy to assist you in this regard.

    The Recital Hall is only accessible to folding wheelchairs or wheelchairs under 68 cm in width.

    Three parking spaces for visitors with disabilities are located at the entrance on Gorch-Fock-Wall. Six parking spaces for visitors with disibilites are available in front of the Artists’ Entrance on Dragonerstall.
