Das dritte Kammerkonzert der Symphoniker Hamburg lädt zu einer vielgestaltigen Reise durch Länder und Zeiten ein; passend eröffnet wird die klangliche Tour mit einer Bearbeitung für Hörner der Ouvertüre von Händels »Wassermusik«, jener Suiten-Sammlung, die 1717 eine Lustfahrt des englischen Königs auf der Themse untermalte. Faurés »Pavane« entstand Ende der 1880er Jahre zunächst als Klavierstück, bevor der Komponist es für Orchester und Chor adaptierte; hier erklingt es in einer Fassung für vier Hörner, bevor dann Bruckners Andante in Des-Dur das Hornquartett choralhaft zusammenführt.
Johann Michael Haydn, der jüngere Bruder des berühmteren Joseph, entführt noch einmal zurück ins 18. Jahrhundert – wenngleich in einer aufregenden Bearbeitung mit Live-Elektronik. Kompositionen von Michael Ranzenberger und Christoph Gottwald belegen, dass die beiden Herren nicht nur ihre Instrumente – Posaune und Trompete – im hiesigen Sinfonieorchester souverän beherrschen, sondern auch für das seit Mitte des 19. Jahrhunderts existierende Euphonium komponieren können.

Chamber music series, lieder recitals, children's concerts and jazz events seem to be made for the Recital Hall of the Laeiszhalle, which can accommodate up to 640 guests. (Please note: The Laeiszhalle is a separate concert hall located three kilometres away from the Elbphilharmonie.)

The Laeiszhalle is a separate concert hall located three kilometres away from the Elbphilharmonie.

Arrival time
We suggest visitors arrive at the Laeiszhalle main entrance not later than 30 minutes before the start of the concert or event. Late seating is not guaranteed and latecomers may not be admitted to the concert hall.
The entrance of the Recital Hall is located on Gorch-Fock-Wall.
