»Stars der Zukunft« – das sind sie wohl beide, der Russe Alexander Kutuzov und die Niederländerin Harriet Krijgh. Im Mai stellen sie sich dem Hamburger Publikum vor. Gerade einmal 17 Jahre alt ist der Pianist Kutuzov und bereits Preisträger zahlreicher international bedeutender Wettbewerbe. So gewann er u.a. im Jahr 2010 die Blüthner Golden Tone Award International Piano Competition, im Jahr 2012 die International Tchaikovsky Competition for Young Musicians sowie mehrere Goldmedaillen bei den Russischen Delphischen Spielen. Auftritte führten ihn u.a. zum Rheingau Musik Festival und zum Festival »Moscow meets friends«. Nicht weniger beeindruckend präsentiert sich der Lebenslauf der 21-Jähringen Cellistin Harriet Krijgh. Bereits im Alter von neun Jahren wurde sie als Jungstudentin an der Musikhochschule von Utrecht angenommen, vier Jahre später zog sie nach Wien, wo sie ihr Studium fortsetzte. Die Siegerin zahlreicher Wettbewerbe, u. a. beim Cellowettbewerb der renommierten Amsterdamse Cello Biënnale 2012, ist mittlerweile gern gesehener Gast bei Festivals wie dem Rheingau Musik Festival und den Sommets musicaux de Gstaad sowie an Konzerthäusern wie dem Wiener Musikverein und dem Amsterdamer Concertgebouw. Im Jahr 2012 gründete Harriet Krijgh auf der österreichischen Burg Feistritz zudem das Festival »Harriet & Friends«, dessen künstlerische Leiterin sie ist.

Since 1908, the Laeiszhalle has been a meeting place for Hamburg's musical life. The neo-baroque Laeiszhalle Grand Hall accommodates over 2,000 guests. (Please note: The Laeiszhalle is a separate concert hall located three kilometres away from the Elbphilharmonie.)

We suggest visitors arrive at the Laeiszhalle main entrance not later than 30 minutes before the start of the concert or event. Late seating is not guaranteed and latecomers may not be admitted to the concert hall.
