Das Finale der »Woche der aufgehenden Sterne« ist einem Streichquartett aus Paris vorbehalten: dem Quatuor Voce, das von der Pariser Cité de la Musique präsentiert wird. Seit ihrer Gründung im Jahre 2004 haben die vier jungen Musiker unter Anleitung des Quatuor Ysaÿe und Günter Pichlers, dem einstigen Primarius des Alban Berg Quartetts, zu einem eindrucksvollen Quartett-Spiel gefunden. Mit ihrem Temperament, ihrer klanglichen Finesse und ihrem homogenen Spiel haben sie nicht nur die Jurys bedeutender Wettbewerbe überzeugen können, sondern sich auch eine wachsende Fangemeinde erspielt. Besondere Freude bereiten dem Quatuor Voce Projekte jenseits des »klassischen« Konzertlebens: So haben sie bereits mehrfach Stummfilm-Aufführungen begleitet und arbeiten immer wieder mit Jazzmusikern und Tänzern zusammen. Während sie sich bei ihrer gefeierten Debüt-CD auf Werke von Franz Schubert konzentrierten, spielen die Musiker des Quatuor Voce heute Werke von drei anderen Großmeistern des Streichquartetts – aus drei Jahrhunderten: Mozart, Beethoven und Bartók.

Chamber music series, lieder recitals, children's concerts and jazz events seem to be made for the Recital Hall of the Laeiszhalle, which can accommodate up to 640 guests. (Please note: The Laeiszhalle is a separate concert hall located three kilometres away from the Elbphilharmonie.)

Please note: There are several construction sites in the immediate vicinity of the Laeiszhalle which may make it difficult to get to the concert. Please therefore plan enough time for your journey to the concert.
The Laeiszhalle is a separate concert hall located three kilometres away from the Elbphilharmonie.
We suggest visitors arrive at the Laeiszhalle main entrance not later than 30 minutes before the start of the concert or event. Late seating is not guaranteed and latecomers may not be admitted to the concert hall.
The entrance of the Recital Hall is located on Gorch-Fock-Wall.
