»Singing is the foundation of music in all its aspects.« With this Telemann dictum in mind, the Hamburg Philharmonic State Orchestra opens its chamber music season with a baroque programme that draws links with both modernity and the world of song – doing so using only musicians from its own ranks: Maria-Isabella Jung plays the oboe and cor anglais in the orchestra and now takes centre stage as a singer.
