Together against the end of the world

Together, we are cancelling the end of the world. This live reportage is for anyone who has ever felt afraid, powerless or helpless in the face of the climate crisis. Climate journalist and presenter Louisa Schneider visited five places on our planet, so-called tipping points: She felt the heat of deforestation in Brazil, saw entire houses and beaches disappear in Senegal, heard the ice crack in Canada and Greenland and dived to the bleached corals in Australia.

However, she constantly encounters incredibly courageous people who are already the most affected by the effects of the climate crisis today, but who fearlessly set off into the world of tomorrow. Louisa takes the audience into the rainforest, to the shamans of the indigenous Yanomami, and to the people of Senegal. The audience listens to the stories of the Inuit and dives deep into the Great Barrier Reef.

This film and photo show deconstructs the known world. With openness and hope, humour and entertainment, and even more empathy, the systems under which people and nature suffer are unleashed. Louisa shows ways in which a fairer world can be created together for everyone.
