Die belgischen Gäste im Reigen der »Rising Stars« sind jung an Jahren, doch reich an Erfahrung und Erfolgen: Lorenzo Gatto und Eliane Reyes haben ihre internationale Konzerttätigkeit bereits mit zwölf bzw. elf Jahren aufgenommen und seitdem gleichermaßen bei wichtigen Wettbewerben wie auf bedeutenden Podien in aller Welt reüssiert. So hat Lorenzo Gatto zuletzt den Zweiten Preis sowie den Publikumspreis beim angesehenen »Concours Musical International Reine Elisabeth« 2009 gewonnen, ist also bestens gewappnet für die extrem hohen Ansprüche des hier erklingenden Programms. Denn immerhin sind die Widmungsträger, auf die Saint-Saëns, Ysaye und Prokofjew ihre brillanten Stücke zugeschnitten haben, Pablo Sarasate, Georges Enescu und David Oistrach, also drei der größten Geiger des 20. Jahrhunderts. Und da in den romantischen Werken auch die Klavierstimme der Pianistin wahrhaftig »alle Hände voll« zu tun gibt, wird Eliane Reyes zumindest erleichtert sein, ihren Part in Mozarts Sonate K 454 nicht improvisieren zu müssen, wie dies der Komponist bei der Uraufführung 1784 noch tat …

Chamber music series, lieder recitals, children's concerts and jazz events seem to be made for the Recital Hall of the Laeiszhalle, which can accommodate up to 640 guests. (Please note: The Laeiszhalle is a separate concert hall located three kilometres away from the Elbphilharmonie.)

The Laeiszhalle is a separate concert hall located three kilometres away from the Elbphilharmonie.
We suggest visitors arrive at the Laeiszhalle main entrance not later than 30 minutes before the start of the concert or event. Late seating is not guaranteed and latecomers may not be admitted to the concert hall.
The entrance of the Recital Hall is located on Gorch-Fock-Wall.
