In solidarity with Israel, this concert at the Laeiszhalle will commemorate the victims of the massacre on 7 October and send a signal against the worldwide call for terror by Hamas and Islamic Jihad. The programme curated by Daniel Kühnel is to be carried by love of freedom, humanity and friendship, against terror and hatred. It brings together readings from the work of Selma Meerbaum, new arrangements of Israeli chansons, chorales from the 17th century and music written especially for the evening.

All artists have waived remuneration. 100% of the proceeds of the evening will be donated to »Keren Hayesod Berlin – Emergency Campaign October 2023«.

Additional donations can be made to the Emergency Campaign October 2023 by mentioning the keyword HINENI. Details at: www.keren-hayesod.de.
